BMW Experience

The BMW Performance Center West is an exciting, adrenaline-packed performance driver training facility located in Thermal, California, near Palm Springs. The facility is open to the public and offers a wide array of driving schools for people of all ages and capabilities. Special programs for private and corporate groups are available at the facility. There are only 2 of these facilities in the United States: located in Palm Springs and South Carolina.

Big Wheel Tours

Join the expert naturalist guides on a Palm Springs adventure to visit some of the area's most scenic back-country wonders. Comfortable Jeep Wranglers are used and along with friendly naturalist guides. Visit the high desert on a Joshua Tree National Park jeep tour via a rugged back-country trail through the San Andreas or head straight to the incredible canyons twisted and distorted by the mighty Fault. The tours include hotel pickup and drop-off from many area resorts, expert guide, water, snacks, and any entry fees. Offered daily with 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. departures.

Palm Springs Windmill Tour

The Palm Springs Windmill Self-Driving Tours is an interactive, educational and fun tour for friends and family. The tour is curated by Tom Spiglanin, Tour Manager, in which he will guide you along with an audio program with our downloaded APP, along with marked destination's throughout the first commercial wind farm in Southern California. The tour starts with a display yard of non-operating wind turbines of successes and failures, along with a stop to a real generating wind turbine where you can get up close and take pictures. The tour takes approximately one hour depending on your pace. We ask that you respect others by not gathering at the marked destinations.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

Aboard the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the World’s largest rotating tramcar, you will experience a breathtaking journey up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon. Begin the ten-minute ride at the Valley Station, elevation 2,643 feet, and end at the Mountain Station, elevation 8,516 feet. No matter what the season, whether you are enjoying spectacular views or hiking in a pristine wilderness, a one-of-a-kind experience can be had by all.

Reed Jeep Tours

Ride the big red Jeeps to see astonishing sites in the beautiful desert. Explore the twisted and tormented landscape of the San Andreas Fault. Travel to a natural palm oasis. Learn about Indian culture, plants, animals, and geology as you ride across the sun-kissed desert.

Joshua Tree National Park

Located one hour north of the Coachella Valley in Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree National Park covers 794,000 acres of two diverse desert ecosystems: the Colorado and Mojave Deserts. Take an easy drive for an afternoon or spend several days walking, hiking, and camping in one of the Greater Palm Springs area's coolest attractions. Tour the Keys Ranch and hear the colorful story of the 60 years Bill and Frances Keys spent raising their five children in this isolated location.

Indian Canyons

Indian Canyons in Palm Springs consist of Palm Canyon, Andreas Canyon, and Murray Canyon. Palm Canyon offers hikers a moderately graded footpath that leads down to a stream perfect for picnicking. Be sure to visit the Trading Post for hiking maps, refreshments, and souvenirs. Andreas Canyon offers a more serene, scenic route perfect for photography and bird-watching. Murray Canyon is an easy to moderate hike boasting abundant wildlife encounters and is less visited, so tends to be more secluded.

Palm Springs Air Museum

Home to one of the World's largest collections of flyable WWII aircraft plus Korea and Vietnam era aircraft. The air-conditioned hangars have no ropes to keep you from interacting with the exhibits. The extensive library and crew of trained volunteers can provide you with details on the aircraft and a sense of the experience of flying them.
